Hydrogenated nitrile offers a wider range from negative forty to one hundred and fifty degrees celsius. Fluorocarbon maintains its properties from negative twenty up to two hundred degrees celsius. These ranges ensure that the seals remain flexible and effective across diverse climates and operational conditions.

Key technical features include a pressure energized lip design where the internal fluid pressure helps to push the seal against the metal surface for a tighter bond. High pressure models are often equipped with anti extrusion rings made from brass or stainless steel which prevent the rubber from deforming or washing out under extreme flow rates.
