Product Description:

Hammer union seals are replacement sealing components for specified union connections in oil and gas equipment. Match each seal to the union figure, nominal size and seal-seat geometry.

The existing range includes rubber seals and configurations with brass or stainless steel back-up rings. Specify the complete seal construction,

including the compound and any back-up ring, when ordering replacements for pipelines or other oilfield connections. Suitability depends on the actual

fluid, operating temperature and complete union assembly rating; a seal alone does not establish a pressure rating.

Rubber Union Seals: Match the Seal Seat and Back-up Ring

For a replacement enquiry, provide the union figure and nominal connection size together with the seal part number, drawing or sample. Nominal pipe size is not the seal inner or outer diameter. Confirm the lip profile, cross-section and back-up ring dimensions before comparing quotations.

Rubber-only, brass-backed and stainless-steel-backed versions must match the intended seal seat. Do not substitute one construction solely because the nominal size appears the same. For repeat orders, identify both the rubber compound and the approved back-up ring configuration.
