Hammer Union Seal are used in the connections between flexible hoses or pipes used in the oil drilling industry. The seal provides a critical fluid tight connection within the union hardware.
Hammer Union consists of a thread end, a nut end, and a hammer nut that when tightened seal the assembly with the assistance of an elastomeric seal. The seal is lipped to prevent it from falling out when inverted.

Custom hammer union seal enquiries can specify NBR, HNBR or FKM compounds to the fluid duty. PTFE is a thermoplastic requiring separate profile and support review.

We can supply the sample if we have ready parts in stock, but customized parts have to pay the mold fee.

Yes, we can produce by your samples or technical drawings. We can build the molds and fixtures.

If the good are in stock generally it is 5-7 working days after receiving your payment. About 7-15 working days if we have mold or 21-30 working days without mold. The specific delivery time depends on the items and quantity of your order quantity.

For sample and small order, 100% T/T or Paypal. For bulk order, T/T 30% as deposit, and 70% before delivery. We'll show you the photos of the products and packages before you pay the balance.

NBR Hammer Union Seal with Stainless Ring: Specify Oil Duty and Support Geometry
This enquiry focuses on an NBR replacement hammer union seal with a stainless support ring. NBR, nitrile and Buna-N refer to the same polymer family; specify the actual compound for the oil formulation and temperature duty. HNBR, FKM and PTFE in the comparison table are separate alternatives rather than the composition of this NBR item.
Provide the Figure 1502 mating union drawing, nominal connection size and seal seating dimensions. Specify the stainless ring grade, section and assembly arrangement independently from the rubber hardness. Do not treat a brass-supported or plain rubber seal as an automatic substitute for the approved stainless-supported profile.
For an oil-service order, include additives, any water or gas content, continuous and peak temperature and pressure-cycle conditions. Confirm the hardness value and Shore test scale with the selected NBR compound.
