Figure 602/1002/1502 NBR Hammer Union Seal — Custom Replacement Identification
Product Introduction
Hammer Union Seals are used in the connections between flexible hoses or pipes used in the oil drilling industry. The seal provides a critical fluid tight connection within the union hardware.
Hammer Unions consist of a thread end, a nut end, and a hammer nut that when tightened seal the assembly with the assistance of an elastomeric seal. The seal is lipped to prevent it from falling out when inverted.
Material Introduction
This enquiry concerns NBR replacement seals for specified Figure 602, 1002 or 1502 unions. Approve the NBR grade, profile and any support ring for each connection. HNBR, FKM and PTFE below are separate alternatives; PTFE is a thermoplastic requiring its own design review.
