NBR, FKM and HNBR Replacement Union Seals for Figure 206, 602, 1002 and 1502 Enquiries

Hammer Union seals:

Hammer union seals are used in the connections between flexible hoses or pipes used in the oil drilling industry. The seal provides a critical fluid tight connection within the union hardware.
Hammer unions consist of a thread end, a nut end, and a hammer nut that when tightened seal the assembly with the assistance of an elastomeric seal. The seal is lipped to prevent it from falling out when inverted.
Some profiles such as Fig 2202, Fig 1004, Fig 1502, Fig 2002, Fig 602, Fig 1002 etc require a Hammer Union Lip Seal or an 'O'Ring depending on the Size of the Hammer Union.
We produce 1" ,1.5",2",3",4" ,6" and 7"Hammer Union Seals in NBR, FKM or HNBR compounds selected for the specified fluid and service requirements. In addition to the standard molded rubber seals, we offer these with either a brass or stainless steel anti-extrusion ring.

Building a replacement seal list for Figure 206, 602, 1002 and 1502

Record each union figure and nominal connection size on its own purchase line. For an existing Weco union, provide the original part reference or assembly drawing together with a profile photograph and measured seal dimensions. Match the required lip or O-ring profile before selecting NBR, FKM or HNBR; a shared size label does not establish interchangeability between figures. Confirm whether that drawing calls for an all-rubber seal, brass backing or stainless steel backing. Include the fluid, operating temperature and complete assembly rating in the enquiry so the proposed compound and construction can be reviewed for the intended service.
