HUS001 NBR hammer union seals are listed for nominal 2-, 3- and 4-inch union connections, with brass or stainless steel backing specified for the selected part. The rubber ring and backing must match the seal recess in the identified union. Provide the equipment manufacturer, figure number and part drawing when ordering a replacement; HUS001 is a catalogue reference and does not by itself establish fit across different union designs.

The seal is a replacement component within the union connection, rather than the threaded or welded union hardware. For a brass-backed or stainless-backed NBR part, confirm backing dimensions, rubber profile and Shore A hardness together. These backing options are separate purchase configurations and should not be substituted solely because nominal pipe size is the same. Operating pressure belongs to the complete rated assembly and its service conditions.
