Custom colored rubber O-rings can help distinguish approved parts during assembly and maintenance. Specify the compound, nominal hardness, AS568 dash number or custom inner diameter and cross-section before selecting the color.

For service involving heat, provide normal temperature, peak temperature and exposure duration together with the fluid. The selected compound and gland determine the service limits; color does not establish heat resistance.

Silicone, NBR, FKM and EPDM are listed material options and must be evaluated separately. A color change should be reviewed against the approved compound and application requirements.

Confirm dimensions and sample acceptance before ordering repeat production.

For custom colors, send a physical color sample or agreed reference and identify whether appearance or part recognition is the main requirement.

Approve the color on a sample of the selected compound. Do not use color alone to identify material, hardness or pressure capability.
