Oil and Gas Well Rubber Packer Elements with Wide Size Availability
Rubber packer elements and cup-style seals for oil and gas wells are matched to actual tool and bore dimensions. NBR, HNBR and FKM options require compound selection for the specified fluid and temperature. Identify whether the part is a cup seal or a compression-set element before defining dimensions, reinforcement and setting requirements. Drillability must be confirmed for the complete tool construction.
Features of the rubber oil packer cups:
1) Specify pressure and temperature requirements for the selected compound and complete assembly.
2) Dimensional fit includes seal profile, mounting interface and mating bore condition.
3) Nominal application sizes include 3.5, 4.5 and 5.5 inches; custom sizes require drawing review.
4) A requested 150°C (302°F) pressure test needs an agreed compound, fixture, pressure and acceptance criteria.
5) A requested 30-cycle test needs defined pressure limits, temperature and dwell times.
6) A cup diameter up to 30 inches requires manufacturing and drawing confirmation before ordering.

For replacement packer seals, record both the nominal tubing or casing designation and its actual internal diameter. Include the metal tool interface, support dimensions and required seal profile. Two wells with the same nominal casing size may require different seal geometry because the mating bore and tool construction differ.

1. Is nominal casing size enough to order?
Provide nominal size together with actual bore diameter, tool model and the seal drawing.
Confirm the bore condition and mounting geometry; a nominal size alone does not identify a replacement part.

b. Overall height and working seal profile.
c. Mounting shoulders, grooves or other locating features.
