Application
Application of the rubber o ring:
A: Small seals in specified housings; confirm groove geometry, ring squeeze and mating clearances.
B: Pressure-service selection requires the pressure conditions and extrusion clearance of the assembly. Confirm the complete seal arrangement before use.
C: Oil, coolant and other media require compound-specific compatibility review at the intended temperature. A small ring size alone does not establish a pressure rating.
Product Description
SHQN supplies small rubber O-rings for specified sealing designs. Provide the standard size designation or a drawing with inside diameter, cross-section and tolerances.
Confirm finished dimensions and manufacturing range for the selected compound. Catalog size ranges do not identify an individual ring or its operating limits.
NBR, FKM, EPDM and silicone are separate material options. Select the compound and hardness for the actual fluid, temperature and pressure conditions.
