Application
Application of the rubber o ring:
A: Round seals in specified housings and connections; confirm ring dimensions, groove geometry and installation clearance.
B: Specify whether the part is a circular O-ring or a flat annular gasket. O-rings require inside diameter and cross-section; flat rings require inside diameter, outside diameter and thickness.
C: Fluid applications require review of the selected compound against the actual medium and temperature. Color does not identify hardness or establish durability in service.
Product Description
SHQN supplies colored round rubber seal rings to specified dimensions and hardness. Confirm the seal profile and mating geometry from the drawing before material selection.
Confirm finished dimensions, tolerances and manufacturing range for the selected compound. Catalog size ranges do not define the individual round seal.
NBR, FKM, EPDM and silicone are separate compound options. Select the material and target hardness for the actual medium, temperature, pressure and motion.
