Colored NBR O-rings can be specified for identifying replacement parts in small assemblies. Link each color to a part number, dimensions and compound grade so visually similar rings are not mixed during installation.
Provide inside diameter, cross-section and tolerances for the required ring. A diameter range does not define a complete O-ring size; manufacture and tooling are confirmed against the drawing or identified sample.
Specify the NBR grade and operating fluid for this inquiry. Alternative FKM, EPDM or silicone compounds require separate compatibility review.

A: Small equipment assemblies and maintenance connections: identify the sealing position, gland dimensions and assembly method.
B: Water or air sealing inquiries: specify temperature, pressure and whether the joint is static or moving.
C: Oil, coolant or grease exposure: identify the exact fluid and service conditions before selecting the NBR compound.
