For a luminescent-colour enquiry, agree the sample appearance and viewing conditions separately from sealing performance. A glow effect does not certify a compound for oilfield service. Keep the approved drawing and compound reference with repeat orders.
Application of the rubber o ring:
For oilfield replacement seals, identify the equipment manufacturer, model and revision, exact fluid, pressure cycle and temperature duration. Confirm dynamic or static duty and the sealing groove. Special sour-gas or rapid-gas-decompression service requires compound-specific qualification.
Custom oilfield O-rings are identified by equipment part number, profile, inside diameter, cross-section and approved compound. Specify NBR, silicone or FKM by grade and confirm the fluid and temperature cycle. Colour is an identification choice and does not establish oil resistance or a temperature rating.
