Buna-N Oil Saver Rubber is a specially designed rubber sealing component used in wireline stuffing box assemblies for oilfield well service operations. Manufactured from nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR), this oil saver rubber provides good oil resistance, elasticity, and wear resistance for sealing applications around wireline cables.

Installed inside a compatible stuffing box assembly, the oil saver rubber forms a sealing contact around the moving wireline cable to help control oil leakage and fluid loss during wireline operations. Its elastic properties allow the rubber sealing element to adapt to the cable surface while maintaining sealing contact during cable movement.

Buna-N is widely used in oilfield sealing applications because of its good compatibility with many petroleum-based fluids and lubricating oils. It offers a practical balance of sealing performance, mechanical properties, and cost-effectiveness for conventional wireline service environments.
